A loud scream was heard from across the room and a female Vampire was seen shaking her body frantically and fiddling with her dress. This caused an uproar in the room and everyone's attention was instantly directed at her, even mine but when my eyes fell on Kayden who wasn't too far from the lady who was panicking for some reason, I quickly understood that this must have been his doing.

I guess he must have seen my problem and so he created a distraction so I would be able to carry out my task successfully. I can't help but wonder what he had done to the lady but I don't even think about it. I quickly turn away and bring out the vial I had successfully hidden in my bra. I opened it quickly and quietly poured the whole liquid into the King's wine which was sitting on a platter beside his throne. I kept the vial back in my dress. I then pick my glass back up and quietly move away from the King so as not to incur any suspicion.
