Chapter 30

I sat in the bathtub, enjoying my bubble bath, it just feels so refreshing after a long day. I wash myself properly, getting ready for dinner which will be ready soon. Since I've been forced to work according to a schedule in the past, I've gotten used to mastering the time for everything.

"Evelyn, you really shouldn't have done that." Tara just blurted out all of a sudden.

'What? What should I not have done?' I questioned, completely oblivious of what she meant.

"You should not have done what you did with Kayden." She started and I finally realized what she was talking about.

'What are you going on about now Tara? You're talking like we actually did something bad. Is it so wrong to kiss and cuddle with the one I love?' I questioned and she sighed.

It is true. After declaring our feelings for each other, we kissed and cuddled together on my bed while he told me funny stories about his younger days which had me laughing most of the time.
