Chapter 38

My throat went dry as I read through the contents of the letter. The letter simply stated the huge conspiracy that was supposed to take place if I didn't stop it. The letter was addressed to Margallo's boyfriend, Jared and it stated that she was going to kill Alpha Richard today.

The sentence came as such a rude shock that I had to read it multiple times just to be sure that I wasn't seeing things. I had known Margallo was busy plotting things but never in my wildest dreams had I expected something like this. Such a huge plot against the Alpha.

"It's a huge shock, yes, but won't you read the rest of the letter?" Tara asked, managing to snap me out of my shell shocked state.

'Yes.' I agreed and proceeded to read further. Not only was it written in the letter that she was going to kill the Alpha today, it also stated how she was going to do it.

The letter revealed that she would poison the drink that her father, Alpha Turner, was going to present to Alpha Richard as a
