Chapter 31

I motion to one of the maids to go to my room and get me my notepad. The maid left and came back with my note and the pen. I scribbled some words down, asking Elsie if she was feeling alright.

She read it and smiled. "I'm absolutely fine, thank you for asking." She thanked me and I frowned before writing a message which reminded her that she had made a rule which stated that we shouldn't say sorry or thank you to each other.

"I completely forgot." She said sheepishly.

I wrote to her not to thank me ever again and also requested that she refrain from straining herself too much so that her health wouldn't deteriorate once again. She then promised me that she would rest in her room after dinner. I smiled at her and she took a seat beside me, on the left.

Shortly after, Alpha Richard arrived and he kissed her before asking how she felt. She said she was feeling much better.

Ana also came and also asked Elsie the same thing and got the very same reply.
