I turned back to her and glared at her viciously. I wished for nothing more than to wipe away that look of content on her face with a tight slap.

"You'll stay locked in here till the party's over because I can't have you causing me any trouble. Don't worry, you won't be alone for too long. I promise I'll be back after the party and then I'll give you a suitable punishment. You'll have to say goodbye to this world sooner than you think." Margallo said and giggled maniacally while I just stared at her in fear and shock.

I took a deep breath, trying to gather my strength so I could get up but before I knew it, she was out of the room in the blink of an eye and next thing I heard was the clicking of a lock.

The adrenaline rush caused me to move to the door quickly, despite the pain I was starting to feel in my lower belly. I tried to open the door but it was locked, as expected.
