I almost couldn’t believe it. It seems providence had finally smiled on me because who I was searching for was right in front of me the whole time. She had come to me, to save me. Now that I think about it, it makes absolute sense. Lucia, the Vampire King's mate, was said to be a vampire hunter by Voithós and this woman is certainly a vampire hunter. I almost can’t believe that the one I’m looking for is right in front of me.

“You’re Lucia Fitzherbert?” I questioned, just to be sure. “ Yes, you sound a little shocked. Do you know me by any chance?” She questioned with a suspicious gaze and I instantly had the urge to facepalm myself. I should really be careful with the things I say while I’m here.

“No, no. I’m sure we’ve never met before. It’s just that your name sounds very special. I really like it.” I quickly said, hoping that she would believe me and I heaved a sigh when she laughed. This is the first time I’ve heard her laugh out loud and to be honest, s
