Chapter 35. Unexplained Occurrences

Daisy’s POV

I slowly opened my eyes, blinked to adjust to the light, groaned softly, and gazed around, feeling confused. I tried to piece together what had happened, hoping to spot something familiar in my surroundings. It was like trying to unravel a mystery.

Then, I suddenly saw someone sitting next to my bed.

It was Draco. He was lost in thought, staring at a point in front of him like he was looking at something that wasn’t there.

His eyes were fixed on that one spot, and his mind was somewhere else. He didn’t even notice me looking at him. I tried to speak, but my voice was barely a whisper. I cleared my throat and tried again.

“Draco?” I said softly. He didn’t move or respond.

I called out his name again, this time with more urgency.

“Draco!” I exclaimed, my voice slightly louder. Suddenly, he jolted back to reality, his eyes refocusing on me.
