Alaric’s POV

“What is the deal? How can she not be the right twin?” I questioned, confused by the possibility that there could be a mix-up between twins.

“The ritual didn’t go as planned. There seems to be an issue. She is not the right twin. The ritual was supposed to be effective only on the chosen one,” Magnus clarified, his tone tinged with concern and uncertainty.

“But she is the bearer of the crescent moon, and I followed the instructions,” I stated, my confusion showing in my voice as I tried to make sense of the situation.

“Yes, but what if it is meant to be the other way around? Perhaps the other twin is the chosen one. Don’t worry, there is no need to panic. We can simply bring the other girl,” Magnus suggested.
