Chapter 92. Investigation

Draco’s POV

When Daisy suddenly jumped up, I woke up too.

“What happened?”I asked, my confusion evident in my voice.

As soon as Daisy heard my voice, she quickly put her arms around me and hugged me tightly.

She was so surprised and shocked that she could not speak for a moment. She just held me tightly, like she was trying to make sure I was there.

I could feel her heart beating fast and her body shaking. I gently stroked her hair and back to calm her down.

“It is okay, I’m here,” I whispered.

“What is wrong?”I asked.

For a while, Daisy did not say anything. She just held me tightly, like she was trying to hold onto something safe.

Then, slowly, she started to calm down.

She took a deep breath and finally spoke, her voice still shaking.

“I had a bad dream, and I was so scared,” she said.

I held her close, trying to comfort her.

“I’m here. Nothing can hurt you.”I said.
