I stood confidently before the council of elders in Alaric’s pack, my eyes scanning the room as I addressed their concerns.

“Whatever happened to Alaric?” one elder demanded, his voice gruff with suspicion.

“Alaric was corrupt,” I replied, my voice firm.

“He was secretly working with the witches, putting the entire pack in danger. We had no choice but to eliminate him.” I said.

The elders murmured among themselves, their faces skeptical. Another elder stood up, his eyes narrowing.

“How can we trust you? How do we know you are the real son of the Silverwood Pack ?” he asked.
