Chapter 20

Elina’s POV

"What are you doing on the road all alone?" He asked

"You are indeed fearless."

I began to cry uncontrollably, so much so that I placed my head on his dashboard. At this point, I don't even know if I am doing the right thing.

"How am I sure he would not hurt me?"

I continued to ponder my thoughts.

I rummaged through my bag and brought out my phone to check for a signal, but there was nothing.

"We will be at my place in 10 minutes, so you can rest." He said to me.

When we got to his house, we met his wife, and he looked younger than her. The wife had a blueish eye and curly hair.

"Who are these people?" She asked her husband.

"They are my guests!" He said to her,

They both went inside.

I could hear them so loud and clear.

"What could be their problem?" I asked myself.

"Please let her stay here tonight; they will leave tomorrow morning; it is very late and they have nowhere to stay."
