Chapter 47

Diana cried heavily as she packed her bags.

As a mother, she would miss the entire pack household. As much as the Alpha was cruel to her, she had wonderful experiences with the rest of the people in the pack. Amongst them was Brian Kin, a 14-year-old boy who was so clingy to her. Diana had substituted for his Omega mother, who was killed by the monster two years ago while on a leisure walk in the bush. Diana had taken him as her own biological son. It was a shame she wouldn’t be able to bid him farewell since no one could know she would be leaving tonight.

When she was done packing her bags, she went to the kitchen and began to dish out the food. She emptied a pack of the sleeping pills Valen had given her earlier into each of the plates, making sure she mixed them into the food appropriately.

While she was dishing the meal, one of the guards came around, complaining about the delay in serving dinner, and grabbed one of the plates.
