At exactly 8:45 pm, Valen went to Diana to make sure her role was taken care of.

He came to the kitchen and found her sobbing and worried.

"What is wrong with you? Are you opting out?" Valen asked her.

"No! I would never do that to you, my son. I have made up my mind to finally leave this place. Please, I want to escape with Elina tonight, but I don't know if I can do it. I mean, I am not that young. I don’t know if I would be able to run if I am asked to. Valen, my son, you know your brother has not been fair to me. I don’t need to tell you the story because you have lived here with me during these past years. Please, can you help me to escape?" she grabbed Valen's hand and pleaded with him.

"Of course, Diana. If that is what you want, I will do just that. Just that you have to help me by being smart enough so we don’t get caught. I have arranged for drivers at North Coast, and they are all there waiting for you guys," he assured her.
