Alison’s POV
The weight of Simone’s revelation still hung heavy in the air as we walked through the Pack’s central grounds, the towering trees casting flickering shadows under the soft glow of the moon. Xander’s hand rested lightly on the small of my back, grounding me as my thoughts swirled with the vision I had seen and the strange, ancient mark on Simone’s shoulder.
