Chapter 105. Stuck Between Worlds

Scarlett pushed the front door open and rushed into the hallway. As she searched for a nurse or someone who could direct her to where her mother was being held, her head swiveled from left to right.

"Scarlett." Calling her, Mia motioned for her to approach the counter she was in front of. Mia glanced at the nurses as Scarlett drew near.

"I'll take over from here,"  said Scarlett. She swung around to face the nurses. "I am looking for a woman who was brought in here earlier this morning or late last night. Something like that."
