The warriors surrounded us once again, spears raised, all because of a single order from their Alpha. They closed in quickly, and I could feel the anxiety rolling off everyone behind me, everyone except Aries, who still stood squarely at my side, his eyes never leaving Braun.

I couldn’t think of a single reason Braun would want to imprison us. We had no ties here, no previous encounters. And since they were a halfie pack, they definitely had nothing to do with Ron. So what was it?
