Layla’s POV

“What the hell is this?” I asked as the door closed.

He stood up and came over to me.

“She just wants to stay for a few days, said she missed us and wanted to spend some time together.”

“And you told her no, right?” I asked and scanned his eyes.

Holy shit…

“Layla it’s not that easy.”

“Are you kidding me? You said that your ex mate could stay here? The woman that you have dedicated an entire fucking floor too?”

“It’s not like that. She doesn’t want me back she just wanted to see us again.”

“How can you be so delusional?” I breathed.

He was acting as though she hadn’t left him and broken his heart.

Kade didn’t speak and it was causing me more pain than if he were.

“Kade, she left, she caused you pain and now you’re inviting her back in?”
