Chapter 29. When One Door Closes, You Bust It Open

Layla’s POV

We woke up hastily to the door being swung open.

“There you are, Kade’s been looking for you!” Cara said sounding stressed.

I rose a brow and laid back down again.

“Since when?”

“Since like an hour ago.” My heart sank and my stomach clenched.

“Which means he hasn’t been in the room all night to notice my absence until now.” Her eyes fell and her cheeks flushed.
