Chapter 84. Just a Misunderstanding
Ethan’s POV
I had been driving all day and all night, but I didn’t care. There is nothing that I wanted more than to get back to Emma. The rogue attacks on my pack are becoming fewer and far between since I locked my Beta in the dungeons.
I have an odd feeling that he was going to use the attacks as a bargaining tool to force me to release Emily. It is too bad he was too stupid to release that I would simply lock him up as well when I found out their betrayal.
When Duncan showed up I briefed him on the situation. I let him know that under no circumstances was he to let my former Beta or his mate out of the cells. With that little bit of information I willingly left another Alpha in charge of my pack, but I didn’t care. The only thing that I was concerned about was getting back to Emma before another man steals her heart.
Duncan had instructed his guards not to stop me at the border. So I flew my car past the guards, kicking up rocks as I pass by them.
