Chapter 89. Stay Away From My Mommy!

Ethan’s POV

As we are walking into the hospital I am surprised to see Thomas walking out with a sullen look on his face. Hilariously, Ezra steps in front of me and growls a tiny growl in Thomas’s direction.

Thomas bends down to Ezra’s eye level and gives him a brilliant smile. “I am going home little man,” Thomas explains. “But I know your mommy is in good hands because she has you to take care of her.”

Ezra stands with his hands clutched in tiny fists and his little face is red with anger. “You stay away from my mommy,” he tries to snarl.

“Yes, Sir,” Thomas smiles at Ezra before he gets back to his feet.

I look at Thomas with a confused look on my face. “You are leaving?” I ask him.

“I am,” Thomas says, taking a step back because Ezra is landing little punches against his thigh. “I don’t belong here.”
