Chapter 114. I Can’t Leave
Ayana’s POV
Silence echoes between the three of us for a while. I was waiting for Robby to respond because I didn’t want him to say that I was disrespecting him in his house. But when there is nothing said for close to a minute, I take it that you have nothing to push their conversation further. Whether he takes her advice or not, that is his call.
“I suppose you are done ranting now. Get out,” I order, showing her the door with a gesture of my face.
“I can’t leave,” Grace responded.
Pardon me? What was that? “Excuse me?” I ask, glaring at her face in disbelief.
Her arrogance never ceases to mess with my demons. She and this guy deserve each other. Arrogant couple!
“Yes. I asked my chauffer to go home when it got so late, and there was no sign of you. So, even if this is not what I would have wanted, I have to pass the night here.”
I laugh out loud, and I go hysterical there. The humor in her words hit me unaware, blowing me up longer
