I blink a few times, not letting my bravery slip out of my hold because otherwise I would give in to the fear of the hostility emanating from these people. I can feel that cold chill down my spine, but I don’t shake. I don’t move a muscle. I don’t show the fears that I am concealing inside. I don’t bow my head either.

If there is one thing that this life has taught me ever since I messed up, it is to be strong amidst everything. And not to take shit from anyone. And lastly, to keep my head held high; otherwise, people will see me as a weakling that they can step over any time they feel like doing so.

And as for these people, I have never met them, so I don’t understand why they are giving me these murderous looks. Whatever problem they have with me, I will face them head-on.
