“I promise. I won’t fight with your Uncle Adam!” Ayana promised.

She kept wondering whether Lyana could sense the love brewing between herself and Adam. She never asked her not to fight anyone before. Not Ayana’s parents, not her sister, and neither Robby nor Jerry. This Adam seemed special. It seemed like the weird, strong bond between Adam and Lyana was not one-sided after all. The little girl seemed like she loved Adam so much.
