She nodded slightly, sensing that there was part of the speech that didn’t leave Adam’s lips. “But...”

“No buts. That is complete that way. I was just thinking that we could maybe take her to a much better school, if that is okay with you. That way, her future would be guaranteed. I am not saying that...”
