Ella POV

“Ha! I win again,”

I grin as I look over at Lucian, but he isn’t paying any attention to the game. “Did you ask me to play video games so you can stare off into the distance?”

I ask him, pushing my shoulder against his own.

“Right,”

he says quietly. “Another round?”

I place the controller in front of me. “Not until you tell me what has you so distracted.”
