Erebus POV

A light rapping on Ella’s door saves Ella from our awkward conversation. As much as I want to continue to watch her blush under my words and my gaze, she quickly pulls my shirt over her head and yells for whom ever is at the door to come in. I’m not shocked in the slightest to see Lucian waiting outside. He is just as nosy as mother. I wouldn’t be surprised if she sent him up here to do her dirty work.

“I was wondering if Ella…”

Lucian’s glance waivers between Ella and me. “If she is feeling better that is. If she would like to come play video games with me.”

Ella is impatiently looking between us, bouncing on the bed in anticipation. “Please,”

she whispers next to my ear before placing a gentle kiss below my ear. “Pretty please.”
