Ella POV

“I want to take you on a date,”

Erebus says once he has pulled me from the library.

“You aren’t going to yell at me?”

I ask questioningly.

Erebus pulls me to his chest and nuzzles his nose against my mark causing tingles of electricity to travel through my body. “Why would I yell?”

He asks me while placing small kisses up and down my neck.

The pull of the mate bond is fogging my brain and the more kisses he places near my mark the harder it is for me to think. “Because…”

I breathe but no other words come to mind.

“Because Queens don’t punch people in the nose,”

he says before running his tongue up the side of my neck.

“Right,”

I breathe out again as I throw my head backwards giving him better access to my neck.

“Are you going on a date with me or not,”

he growls.

“Mmhmm,”

I moan as he sinks his teeth gently into the mark on my neck.

“Be ready at seven,”

he says
