Initially, Cassandra naturally thought that her father might just be pulling a very nasty prank on her. He was very fond of making the most terrible jokes just to get amusement or a kick out of what he was doing, not minding that he was damaging her mind mentally. In fact, he seemed to enjoy putting mental and physical scars on his daughter.
“Daddy, please, I’m scared, open the door…” she said as she struggled to open the door that she had just closed moments ago. Tears began to bubble up at the corner of her eyes. It was steadily getting darker, and every single sound from the woods was making her shiver with fear.
