“Allison!”
No! How could this happen when he was right there? It wasn’t supposed to be like this. How could this happen when he was right there? The gunshot echoed through the air. The thunder rumbled as if it heard the scream that was made. And the two bodies lay on the floor, not moving.
He was scared, terrified. She couldn’t die. The gun fell out of his hands, and he ran over to where she was laying and held her in his arms. The stainless knife was there, deep in her back, the blood dripping out. He didn’t know what to do next.
“Allison…No. You can’t leave me. Please….”
He couldn’t hold back his tears. She was still breathing, and he could see it. His clothes were stained with her blood, something he had never imagined or wished to happen. She was in his arms, dying. He got out his phone to dial 911.
A female operator picked up and spoke to him.
“911, what’s your emergency?”
“I-I need an ambulance.”
