Chapter 66. Destiny

Ally's POV

The air is heavy, tainted with the scent of rain and the musk of agitated wolves. The full moon looms above, a silent witness to the unfolding chaos.

My pulse races, erratic, as I watch Elliot's transformation. It isn't the smooth shift of flesh to fur that I am used to seeing in Luparian kind. Instead, it's a grotesque, jagged dance of man and beast, a struggle that paints his features with an insanity I've never witnessed before.
