The lawyer Lainey hired was one of the best in the country. With the help of the club, she was able to provide enough evidence to have her husband arrested. The judge approved the divorce, and her now ex-husband got nothing but jail time.

Lainey had fell in love with Ace. She was torn between being with him and taking care of her family farm. The thought of leaving him devastated her. But she couldn't figure out how to make it work. Ace couldn't leave his brotherhood or job, and she couldn't manage the farm from so far away.

It was absolutely not a choice to sell the farm. It had been in her family for five generations. The time came for her to leave. It was a very hard and tearful goodbye.
