The next weekend she had let her sister match her up with a blind date. She was nervous but knew she had to forget about Lawson. No sense dwelling on what could never be. 

Her date was Ryan and he was a pediatrician that worked at the same hospital as her sister. He was good looking she had to admit. He was also polite, he picked her up and opened her car door for her then held her chair while she sat down. 

Since he was on call and the diner was closest, they had agreed to eat there. Sera's worst fear happened. Lawson and a few of the guys walked in and sat down to eat.
