Noah returned to the pack house, his footsteps echoing through the hallway as he made his way to his chamber. 

He entered the bathroom, seeking a refreshing reprieve from the day's events. The cold shower he took was a balm to his weary body and mind, washing away the fatigue and tension that had built up. 

As he stood under the invigorating spray, his eyes closed, and his thoughts began to clear. The stress and anxiety of being Alpha, combined with the emotional impact of Lucas's return, slowly ebbed away. Emerging from the shower, Noah felt revitalized, his senses refreshed.
