Chapter 14. Breakfast for Rodney

Sushmita’s POV

I was blinded by the sun coming from the window of our bedroom. I didn’t remember that it’s open and the curtains were gone. It’s very beautiful and full of life.

I could see wildflowers outside as I stood up on the bed. Rodney is still sleeping so I will prepare him a nice breakfast, it was 8:00 a.m. and it’s Saturday. It’s his free time today.

I went downstairs and saw Daniel again passing around with a beer in his hands again.

“Hey, Daniel!” I called him while I was going down the stairs.

“Yes, Mrs. Xiu, what can I do for you?” He asked. I came closer to him and grabbed the beer in his right hand.

“Hey, that’s mine!” He said as he refused.

“No-uh! It’s too early, cut it off for God’s sake! Did you already eat?” I asked him.

“That’s my breakfast, my lady,” He said.

“No. I’ll prepare something to eat, so don’t grab this okay?” I said.

“Fine, thanks. Do you need help?” He asked.
