Chapter 21. A Party While Grieving

Sushmita’s POV

I woke up in a familiar room. Our bedroom, I directly grabbed the alarm clock on the side table to know what time it was. It was 6:00 p.m., my eyes opened wide and I immediately got out of bed.

“Rodney?” I yelled but I didn’t get any answer.

I tried to find him but he’s nowhere to be found.

“Mrs. Xiu finally, you’re awake!” Daniel said as he walked towards me.

“Where’s Rodney?” I asked.

“He has something to do so he left me with you. By the way, we’re going on a party tonight, so wear this,” he said as he handed me a big box.
