Chapter 69. Sushmita’s Fault
Sushmita’s POV
I couldn’t sleep that night. That’s why I immediately got dressed and got the key on the pocket of his slacks and opened the door carefully not to make a sound so that I would not wake him up.
I went to Rodel’s bar and saw Dave there polishing some wine glasses.
“Miss Sushmita, sorry but the bar is closed for tonight,” Dave said.
“I’m here for Rodel. Where is he? Where’s your brother?” I asked.
“He’s at my Villa, drinking, after you ditch him,” Dave said and chuckled.
“Correction Dave, he fooled me, so I didn’t ditch him. Can you take me there? I need to talk to him,” I asked.
“Are you sure? We don’t want any trouble Miss. I heard your husband is here,” he said. Well, he’s right.
“Please? I really need to see him and talk to him, I didn’t mean no harm,” I asked again.
“Okay,” Dave said and put the wine glasses back on the rack and threw his apron on the side.
