Chapter 68. Like What He Did Four Years Ago
Sushmita’s POV
We were both silent on our way to some place that I didn’t know because he didn’t want to tell me and it’s so dark and the wind is turning cold.
He opened the stereo of his car and the music flowed all over. We were listening to ‘Heat Waves by Glass Animal’ now that set up the mood while I’m still crying.
“We’re here,” he said and turned off the engine of his car and got out and opened the door for me.
He helped me get out and when I saw the place I was astonished by the view. It was the same as I saw it four years ago.
I don’t know what to say, I’m just crying. I can’t believe what I’m seeing right now. Is this for real?
“It looks the same right? but I only re-design it because they already renovated the place but I don’t want to lose our memories here so yeah, I hired someone to do the work to make this place look the same again,” he explained.
He stretched his arms and reached out to me.
“Come on in,” just like he did
