Chapter 18. Resilient
His words were like a bomb. I feel more pain overcome my soul. I pushed him away but he’s not letting go.
My tears rolled down like a faucet.
“What else are you doing here? Go away!”
He licked his lips. “No.”
What does he want? Damn it! I’m having a hard time!
“Let’s break up!” I said it finally.
His forehead creased and his jaw clenched. He balls his fist. He seemed to want to throw things away. Even though I was so nervous, I tried to be brave.
“No.”
“I love you but I don’t want to be your mistress.”
He then hit the wall next to me with force.
My lips parted and my eyes widened.
I could see the tightening of the veins in his arm used for the beating. He bent down and blinked emphatically. When he looked up, his eyes turned red.
“We’re not going to break up.” He said softly. I could feel his control. “Those pictures were true.” My heart shattered.
“But those pictures were taken three years ago.” My heart
