Chapter 25. Wary of Him

Issahil's POV

[Flashback: A year and three months ago]

I had barely been able to stomach anything the entire day because of my morning sickness symptom. I kept throwing up each time my nostrils picked up the smell of food. It was so discomforting.

Curled up in bed in the room the Alpha of cloudfall pack had given to me, I kept tossing about.

It kept playing in my head, the memory of Alpha Logan picking my cousin Lillian as his Luna and the insults he had hurled at me afterwards. 

I had only been an object of satisfaction to him. Everything else I had thought we were had just been my delusions. 

My hand moved to rub on my stomach. I still couldn't believe I was pregnant for Alpha Logan. 

Surprisingly, although I hated Alpha Logan, I couldn't bring myself to hate the child growing inside me.
