Chapter 55. Spellbound by Her

Alpha Matthias's POV

[Flashback continues]

She had been unable to stomach anything she was served the entire day because of her morning sickness symptom so I was worried.

“What food is best given to a pregnant woman suffering from morning sickness?” I asked one of the female staff in the house. She was married with three children so I figured she was experienced. 

“A light broth would do. Is it for our new guest, Issahil? Should I make some for her?”

I nodded, almost like an agama lizard. “Thank you!”

When she was done, I insisted on taking it to Issahil myself. For some reason, I wanted to see her again, and I felt that it would be a good enough reason to.

She ate it all and this pleased me greatly. I proposed to take her to the park for some fresh air later that evening and she agreed.
