Chapter 59. Pushing Him Away

Issahil's POV

The tears wouldn't stop falling. 

So I had been framed by Lady Lucina? I should have known that woman was nothing but trouble when I first met her.

A surge of rage suddenly started to rise within me and I started to run, diverting from the main road into the forest. The tears fell down my eyes, blinding my vision slightly but I continued on, deep into the forest.

A twig must have caught my dress because I was suddenly pulled back, and then I fell to the floor. With my head face down, I sobbed profusely. 

There was this squeezing pain in my heart. My hand moved to clutch on my chest as I sobbed. 

And then I felt his presence. His strong hands reached out to pull me up gently and I crashed into his chest, burying my face into it.

His hand patted my back soothingly and although I knew his actions were to make me stop crying, I couldn't help bawling my eyes out even more.
