“Issahil...” 

My lips quivered. My entire body shuddered.

Crouched on the floor, memories of Issahil haunted me. 

From the memory of how I had humiliated her in the mating ball to the memory of me abducting her from Cloudfall pack all because Lillian had asked me to…

All the memories of how I had unjustly treated the woman that I loved, how I had hurt her in the most unimaginable way…my heart sank within me, it was almost like it was being pricked by a million needles all at once from the way it suddenly started to hurt.

I had told her that she was nothing but an object of satisfaction…that must have broken her heart. I hadn't meant that…but I had said those words to her nonetheless. 

Even though I remembered everything I had said to her and done to her, the memories in my head about it were almost like a movie with the character being someone else other than me.
