Chapter 63

Mady’s Pov:

I and Mia entered the courtroom and greeted respectfully. Dominick, Brenda and Derek were there already.

A few minutes after everyone else arrived and the meeting started. I wondered who the lady sitting next to Derek was. She looked like Brenda and if I had not known Brenda for long I would have sworn she was her sister.

“I greet you all,” Dominick began talking and I wrenched my attention from her. “I want to start by showing my sincere and heartfelt apology to this council for failing to protect my people as the alpha of this pack. I have made so many mistakes which I have learned lessons from the hard way and I believe, have shaped me. Then I must commend and thank you all for remaining loyal to me and accepting me back to this pack. You were the ones that made it easy for me to return home and to my place. I thank you all.”

We all nodded in approval.

“Before I go any further I want to announce some very important people in this council.
