Chapter 12. Lady Xaqion
Irene assured Walter that he had improved over the past few weeks. She had been examining his analytical data and could see how his levels' rates had been rising.
"Your summoning level in terms of the sword's ignition is quite impressive."
He then asked, "Are you just here to tell me that?" Irene, who had just returned from the lair, abruptly interrupted him as he was working on the merchant problem.
"Nope."
In front of his desk chair, she sat.
"I'm also here to see how you're doing. You are still my graduate, after all.“ He shook his head in surprise, and she then continued with a smile formed in her lips, "I still have duty for you.“
He tried not to be distracted. She is noisy, which disturbed him while he was reading the merchant documentation.
"Don't you want to go out? Their ritual prayers were already finished." She asked him directly.
"I have a ton of documents to review." He heard her chuckle, which irritated him even more beca
