Chapter 13. Maiden’s Law

Maidens are chosen for prophecy. They are chosen when they are born in the world or when the sun will take up more hours to settle down. Maidens are baptized by the gods and goddesses, which symbolizes the hope of the kingdom. And when a baby girl is discovered as a maiden, she is obliged to live inside the Maiden's Lair or the Maiden's Academy.

They are obliged to learn the basic and fundamental things that the maiden would do in order to save humanity. They are taught to heal, to assist in ruling a kingdom, and to act as a holy one who has never been touched nor discovered her own features inside her veil.

Inside the lair, they are prohibited from showing their faces to their co-maidens. They can only show their faces in their own rooms, to the minister, and to their close ones that the minister has allowed.
