MAIDENS' LAIR

A knock on her door broke their conversation, and she remembered the paper scroll. She wanted to ask what happened to her and why time had flown so fast that it was already afternoon. She stood up from her bed but suddenly fell back.
Adonis sighed. "It seems like it's my time to sleep," he said before his eyes lit with blue and Saphena returned. As Saphena saw Xaqion awake, she slightly smiled before bowing her head to leave.
When Saphena left the dimensions, Xaqion turned her head to Clyde, who seemed deep in contemplation, totally out of touch with the world. She faked a cough, but it didn’t wake him up. So she deliberately summoned her spare flute, hit him with it, and then flicked her fingers to summon the flute back.
