Chapter 57

After Mr. Hyung and James resolved the tense situation in the room, I felt relieved and grateful. It felt like a heavy burden had been lifted from my shoulders, and I could now breathe easier. Without saying much, I quickly left the room and headed to my own office.

When I arrived at my office, I sat in my chair and tried to process the moment. My heart and mind were still shaken by the recent events, and I felt the need to take some time to absorb and process everything. While sitting there, I tried to relax my body and release all the emotions I had experienced during those tense moments.

“Oh my, I almost got caught up in Mr. Hyung’s abusive behavior. This is so bad,” I said, holding my chest where my heart was still pounding.

“Mr. Hyung is getting bolder in how he treats me. He’s a really terrible man,” I sighed.

After calming down sufficiently, I was finally able to focus on my work again. I opened my laptop and started concentrating on the pending tasks.
