Chapter 48. A Choice

Marcus POV

Jackson walks down, sitting. I talk to him, trying to get him to agree to go out.

“You need to be able to leave her alone at some point. When I am on the mission, Georgina and Liam are at work, then what if you get called to work?” He nods, giving in.

“Okay, fine, let me go talk to her” He gets up walks into the room and sits with Alena talking. He walks back through and we walk out, driving to the local bar we sit and talk for hours.

“She was talking about you moving out.” I hear Jackson’s words nodding, I knew she would eventually. It's not healthy for us.

“She doesn’t want you to Marcus, she is lying, honestly, she was saying it through fear that I would leave her over the whole baby thing.”

“I know what she means, but maybe it will be best if I do.” He shakes his head at me.

“No, it won’t be, she wants you there still, and I do as well Marcus.” I nod, not wanting to cause a fight.
