Selena had a very troubled sleep that night. The words and the way Liam had revered his mate made any aspirations that she had died immediately. She knew all too well how broken and damaged she was, not physically but mentally and emotionally.

How did she hope to be even a tenth of what he had said a mate meant to him. And the words would not stop coming back to her.
