Chapter 52
The following morning, the assassin woke up with a killer headache; he groaned as he tried to get out of bed. He tapped his body to ensure he had not lost his phone the previous night; he let out a long sigh when he found the phone where he thought he left it.
He pulled it out and checked some security details he had in place in the phone, there was nothing out of the ordinary. Except for the last time he accessed the phone, though he was sh*t-f**ed the night before, so he definitely did not remember much.
He finally decided to take in his environment and noticed that he was still at the bar. That would explain why he was not having a sensory shock from light.
